Why a bunker
We spend our days running networks and watching what crosses them. Most software people use for ordinary work, their documents, their mail, their messages, reports home constantly, and the companies behind it hold the keys. We wanted the opposite for ourselves: a suite that works with the cable unplugged and that nobody, including the company that made it, can read.
So we built one. ColdBunker is the product of that stance. The bunker look is not decoration; it is a reminder of what the thing is for.
The stance
- Say "cannot" only when it is literally true, and make it literally true.
- Publish the limits as prominently as the features.
- Prove the zero-outbound claim on every build, in a way anyone can check.
- Practice it on this website: no trackers, no third-party scripts, fonts served from here.
