Periscope
Browser. A tabbed browser on the platform webview, with no bundled browser engine. DuckDuckGo by default, tracker and ad blocking on, history and bookmarks in the vault. It contacts nothing on its own.
See the outside world from inside the sealed bunker.
In the app
- Tabs, bookmarks, reader view and downloads on the operating system's own webview.
- DuckDuckGo as the default search; tracker and ad blocking enabled out of the box.
- Opens no connection you did not ask for: no prefetch, no suggestions service, no update checks.
What lives in the vault
- History and bookmarks. These are zero-knowledge like everything else in the vault.
What leaves your machine
Web traffic, obviously: the sites you visit see what any browser shows them.
Honest limit: site data such as cookies and localStorage is kept by the operating system's webview, not by the vault. Periscope cannot encrypt it, so we do not claim that it does. Clear it from inside Periscope whenever you like.
Draft
DocumentsThe word processor. Write, format, export DOCX and PDF. All of it in the vault, none of it in a cloud.

Open GridBriefing
PresentationsSlide decks. Build, present, export PPTX and PDF. The whole office trio shares one engine.
